Consumer Loan Agreement

This agreement records the terms of a specific loan offered to an eligible borrower through Uni Loan.

Operated by Soar-Global Tech Services Limited (CAC RC 8154064), PLOT 1395, ALONG 1M ROAD, FHA, LUGBE, AMAC, FCT, Abuja, Nigeria.

Read before accepting: This is a template for an individual loan contract. A loan is created only when the borrower receives a final Loan Schedule and actively accepts it. The completed Loan Schedule, not the example placeholders below, controls the applicable amount, price, fees, repayment dates and other loan-specific terms.

1. Parties and purpose

This Consumer Loan Agreement (the Agreement) is between:

Uni Loan is the lender's digital lending service and is not a separate legal entity. This Agreement is for personal or small-business credit only where the stated loan purpose is lawful and has been accepted by the Lender.

Regulatory status: Uni Loan is an FCCPC-approved and registered digital lending platform operated by Soar-Global Tech Services Limited. The operator and the Uni Loan App are included on the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) public approvals list for digital money-lending companies and apps. You can verify this approval directly through the official FCCPC digital-lender approvals page. This statement does not represent a separate CBN authorisation unless a current CBN licence is expressly identified in an official document.

2. Loan Schedule and key terms

Before the Borrower accepts an offer, the Lender will provide a completed schedule in clear, simple English. The schedule will contain the final terms for that loan, including the equivalent maximum APR where applicable.

3. Application, assessment and acceptance

  1. The Borrower must be at least 18 years old, resident in Nigeria where required, and provide accurate and complete information.
  2. The Lender may assess affordability, identity and repayment capacity using information lawfully provided by the Borrower and permitted verification sources. An application or estimate does not guarantee approval.
  3. The Borrower may accept or decline the final offer. No credit will be disbursed without an active acceptance of the applicable Loan Schedule.
  4. The Borrower will receive an electronic copy of the accepted Agreement and Loan Schedule.

4. Disbursement

After acceptance and satisfaction of any stated conditions, the Lender will send the disclosed disbursement amount to the bank account or payment channel confirmed by the Borrower. Timing may depend on bank, payment-network and verification processing. The Lender will not treat a failed or reversed transfer as a completed disbursement.

5. Interest, APR, fees and total cost

The Borrower will pay only the interest, fees, charges and taxes expressly shown in the completed Loan Schedule. Before acceptance, the Lender will clearly show:

No undisclosed fee will be added to the Borrower's account. Any change to a rate or fee must be expressly permitted by the accepted terms and applicable Nigerian law. Where Apple App Store rules apply to the relevant personal-loan offering, the all-in equivalent maximum APR, including interest and fees, will not exceed 36%, and the loan will not require full repayment within 60 days or less.

6. Repayment and early repayment

The Borrower must make each payment by the due date and through the payment method stated in the Loan Schedule. The Borrower may request a statement of the account and payment history from support@soarglobaltech.com.

The Borrower may repay early. Any adjustment or charge for early repayment must be disclosed in the Loan Schedule and permitted by applicable law. The Borrower will not be charged interest for a period after the relevant principal has been repaid, except where a lawful and clearly disclosed charge applies.

7. Cancellation before disbursement

The Borrower may cancel an accepted offer at no cost before funds are disbursed by using the cancellation option shown in the app or by contacting support. Nothing in this Agreement limits any mandatory cancellation, cooling-off or rescission right available under Nigerian law.

8. Missed payments and fair recovery

If a payment is missed, the Lender may send reasonable reminders and take lawful recovery steps. Any default fee, post-default interest or recovery cost must be clearly stated in the Loan Schedule, reasonable, permitted by law, and not compounded on a fee or default charge. Default-related charges will not exceed the outstanding principal, and no default-related charge will continue after the outstanding amount has been fully paid.

The Lender will not use harassment, threats, public shaming, abusive language, excessive contact or misleading statements. The Lender will not require access to the Borrower's address book, contacts, SMS messages, call logs, photos or gallery for debt collection.

9. Data protection and credit information

Personal data will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable Nigerian data-protection law. Processing will be limited to lawful, necessary and proportionate purposes such as assessing, administering, servicing and protecting the loan, preventing fraud, handling complaints and meeting legal obligations. The Borrower may exercise applicable data-subject rights using the contact details below.

10. Complaints and dispute resolution

Questions or complaints should first be sent to support@soarglobaltech.com. The Lender aims to address complaints within 24 hours; if that is not practicable, it will explain the reason and expected timeframe, which should not exceed 48 hours where applicable.

If the matter is not resolved, the Borrower may contact the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), use any applicable mediation or conciliation process, or seek redress from a court with appropriate jurisdiction. Nothing in this Agreement requires the Borrower to waive a statutory right to complain or bring proceedings.

11. General terms

The Borrower must not use the service for unlawful activity or provide false information. The Lender may suspend or terminate access where required by law, fraud controls or a material breach, but termination will not remove payment obligations already due under an accepted Loan Schedule.

If any term is unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to operate. This Agreement and its Loan Schedule are governed by the laws of Nigeria, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules and the jurisdiction of a competent court.

12. Acceptance record

By selecting Accept in the Uni Loan app, the Borrower confirms that they have read the Loan Schedule, understood the total cost and repayment dates, had an opportunity to ask questions, and agree to this Agreement and the completed Loan Schedule.
